Manufacturing
a brighter Future

Beyond having its PC-12 and PC-24 flagship certified for Sustainable Aviation Fuel, Pilatus prioritizes reducing energy consumption, using renewable sources, sustainable materials, waste reduction, recycling, and promoting eco-friendly awareness.

Pilatus buildings are largely heated with renewable energy from a regional wood-gas power plant, and the company has sourced its entire electricity requirement from hydroelectric plants in Canton Nidwalden since 2014. The ISO 14001 certification recognizes Pilatus’ environmentally-friendly management system and corporate philosophy. The manufacturer operates a massive solar power plant at its Stans headquarters, generating clean, renewable electricity, and has received the 2018 European Solar Prize and the 2018 Swiss Solar Prize for its investments in solar energy.
